Person Struck by Train
Controller to ensure the following core actions have been completed:
Exact location/time/train headcode & nearest access point.Ensure signaller is aware and affected lines have been stopped.
Establish lines affected, Stations affected and any trapped trains
Dispatch MOMs to site (send 2 MOMs as required 1 for train and 1 for site of fatality) Appoint RIO.
Advise Ambulance Service & BTP. If applicable, state that overhead power lines are still live, but stress this does NOT stop them accessing the railway).
Arrange for relief driver and fitters (Establish if train will be fit to proceed without fitter attendance)
Ensure the driver contacts the Fatality Hotline
Advise NOC and request Dignity
If in a station callout Ambipar to carry out clean up (Via NOC)
If in a station, establish restrictions on station and update TRC.
If in a station record when the station has been closed to passengers and reopened
Obtain scene declaration from BTP (See note)
If incident is likely to be unexplained arrange for SOCO via BTP
Arrange to download any CCTV footage if available.
Consider possibilities of other lines re-opening /Consider screening of train / site
Arrange chain of care for RIO and any other parties affected.

Create FMS for Off Track to carry out fence check. If at a level crossing, check signage.
Update CCIL & issue a Tyrell Safety Alert
